Have you lost your job due to a closure or major lay-off? The Job Training Center has services available to help you develop a plan, explore your options and get back to work. Financial aid is available.
Step one. Visit the Job Training Center. We’ll be happy to show you the resources that are here for your assistance. Remember to bring in your citizenship/right to work information and photo ID.
Step two. During your visit, we’ll show you around, explain services and have you complete a registration form. There are no cost for our services, but we do need to keep track of who we are assisting. If you’d like, you can print the form, complete and bring it in with you.
Step three. Throughout the month, we offer a series of different workshops aimed at helping you clarify what your next steps will be. Attend a workshop to learn more about training options, job search assistance, preparing an effective resume, fine tuning interview skills and other services. You can also meet privately with our Career Development staff.
