Wages: $13/hour + shift differential of $2/hour for weekend shifts
Type: Weekdays 2pm – 10pm, Full time (40 hours/week)

Empower Tehama seeks an experienced Housing Assistant to join the team of a dynamic and growing organization in Red Bluff, CA. The Housing Assistant is responsible for the operation and security of all Empower Tehama housing facilities including shelter and transitional housing. The ideal candidate will have two years of housing or case management experience.
About the Job: This position is part of an overall team that provides wide-ranging housing services including, but not limited to: ensuring housing is clean, organized, and in good working order; preparing rooms for new clients; advocacy support, accompaniment and/or transportation to shelter or housing clients as directed; mentoring and supporting clients in developing everyday life skills; facilitating housing meetings; process donations, supplies, and food; documentation of services provided to clients and other job related duties as assigned.
Must be able to work with a broad range of people and maintain an environment that is conducive to serving high-risk populations and people in crisis. Strong active listening skills, good decision-making, a non-judgmental and accepting attitude, and attention to detail.
