The successful candidate will be on probationary period for 90 days and have to pass State Pasteurizer exam during the probationary period.
May be required to operate the Barrel Line.

 

Barrel Line Operator – Part of a four-person crew operating cheese processing machinery and packaging the product into 500 lb. barrels.
Primary duties are to add ingredients to cheese, interface with inventory control PC, and appropriate records. Other tasks are to operate barrel lift,
palletize individual barrels, operate a fork truck, load trucks, and complete all other assigned duties.

 

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS – Must pass physical, drug testing and background check. Position requires lifting 50 lbs.

The Job: We are looking for an experienced Human Resources professional with the ability to select, train and support staff and volunteers to accomplish our vision of a violence free home for everyone. Must possess a good understanding of California labor laws, SHRM certification is preferred.

This position will manage our volunteer program: recruit, train, integrate and support volunteers to serve where they fit best. Develop and implement a volunteer recognition and appreciation plan. Promote volunteers in outreach and education activities in the community.

Provide initial and monitor on-going training for new employees and volunteers to assure each person has the skills and tools to be successful. The Job: Teen Violence Prevention staff will work directly with local high school students, staff and administrators to develop and implement a comprehensive teen violence prevention program. We are looking for individuals with strong engagement and active listening skills, an appreciation and understanding of teens, a collaborative attitude, and healthy boundaries. Must be able to work with school staff and administrators in a professional and respectful manner. Link teens with counseling or other services as appropriate. Develop, nurture and support a Youth Leadership Team.
Requires understanding of social media (or willingness to learn); this position may serve on the Social Media team. Strong computer skills are needed daily, such as: Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher and ATV’s database. Proper and timely documentation of activities is important.

The Job: ATV recently received a five-year grant to provide child abuse treatment (CHAT) therapy services for child victims of crime or abuse. In addition, we work with teens in local high schools to address barriers to academic achievement; and provide therapy for adults, children and families via Victim Witness and other contracts. We are looking for therapists with two years’ experience working with child victims, and a deep understanding of child abuse, domestic violence, family dynamics and child development. Working knowledge and experience with trauma-informed, evidence-based modalities. Licensed (LMFT, LCSW) clinicians are preferred1; we will consider2 MFT Interns and ASW candidates, particularly those with experience working with children and families. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Therapists provide counseling for teens, child victims and their families in local schools and at our counseling center in Red Bluff. Facilitation of psycho-educational groups (provided for batterers and those at risk of becoming abusive) may be part of this position. This position may also provide education and outreach activities to engage the community, increase awareness of services and improve access to services.

 

ATV plans to provide EMDR training to select clinicians this Fall, as well as Motivational Interviewing and Strengthening Families framework training within the next 18 months.

Licensed salary range is $42,000 – $48,000

The Job: Reception is the point of entry for all services, and requires understanding the comprehensive services available at ATV, funding objectives and availability, scheduling with Outlook, use of Excel and Word on a daily basis, and the ability to effectively use ATV’s database system. The receptionist provides triage with every call and walk-in to assess level of danger and immediate needs. This position must be a trained domestic violence counselor; training can be provided during first six months of employment.
Receptionist skills include welcoming walk-ins and maintaining an environment that is conducive to serving people in crisis. Strong active listening skills, professional phone etiquette (accepting and routing calls using a voice mail and intercom system), good decision-making, a non-judgmental and accepting attitude, and attention to detail are important in this position.
