Empower Tehama is seeking an experienced Case Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Experience in the fields of social work, case management, peer counseling, substance abuse treatment and other relevant areas is preferred.

 

About the Job: The Prop 47 Case Coordinator develops, coordinates, and manages case plans for participants; refers participants to needed community resources; and assists participants with accessing those resources to meet case plan goals. Under direction of the Clinical Director, the Case Coordinator works with community partners to foster relationships and avoid duplication of services; assists clients with identifying and addressing barriers to success in obtaining and securing housing; and facilitates or co-facilitates groups about relationships, life skills, anger management, etc. This position is part of an overall team that provides a wide range of housing services to clients including case management, documentation of services provided, client accompaniment and transportation, and fostering relationships with outside agencies/landlords.

 

Must be able to work with a broad range of people and maintain an environment that is conducive to serving high-risk populations and people in crisis. Strong active listening skills, good decision-making, a non-judgmental and accepting attitude, and attention to detail.

Job Description:

Processes various raw materials for fabrication of semi-complex fabricated parts. Interprets drawings to fit, align, calibrate and adjust parts to meet tolerances and product operating requirements.

Under the general direction, perform skilled welding, electrical, plumbing and concrete work, to operate

Essential Functions
-Constructs, remodels or removes wood frame, concrete, metal and other types of structures utilizing a
variety of skills including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, concrete placing and finishing, arc
and acetylene welding cutting.
-Fabricates tools, fittings, and other parts or components needed for District maintenance and
construction projects which cannot be readily or economically acquired commercially, utilizing a variety
of skills including arc and acetylene welding and cutting and machining.
-Operates various construction and maintenance equipment, hand and power tools and high voltage
electrical equipment. Read water meters, maintain or repair infrastructure of the water district, perform
routine equipment maintenance and respond to SCADA and telemetry system.
-Maintain accurate records, work schedules, oral and written reports of work performed and
modifications made to the system, water orders, crop reports, equipment maintenance records,
materials and supplies inventory, and purchase orders.
-Skillfully operate equipment as needed, including backhoe, loader, and forklift.
-Follow safety procedures, including the use of PPE and the use of MSDS safety data sheet.
-Knowledge of basic constructions tools and equipment, basic knowledge of District operations and
equipment used in water-transmissions systems.
-Maintains shop, facility and tools, equipment, and parts inventory.

Desirable Qualifications:

The Emergency Winter Shelter is an emergency, life-saving shelter that is run by Poor and the Homeless Tehama County Coalition (P.A.T.H.), a non-profit organization located in Tehama County. This program is intended to be a life-line to those who would otherwise be unsheltered, in keeping with our mission statement. “To prevent and alleviate homelessness whenever possible in Tehama County by providing programs and services that will lead to self-sufficiency and housing security.

Under the general direction of the Emergency Winter Shelter Manager and Assistant Manager, responsible for monitoring the activities of shelter guests to ensure compliance with program rules and expectations. Additionally, shelter staff are responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and the security and sanitation of the program.

The Corning Chamber of Commerce represents business and commerce in Corning, Tehama County, California. The Board of Directors is elected by its business members and provides vision, direction and fiduciary oversight to the Chamber of Commerce. The day to day operations of the Chamber of Commerce are delegated to the Executive Director.

 

I. Accountability
a. The Executive Director serves at the direction of the Chamber Board of Directors.

 

II. Responsibilities of the Executive Director
a. Provide accurate and detailed information to all inquiries; including interactions in person, email or by written correspondence, telephone or via social media.
b. Maintain the database in the Chamber website of available demographic information on all members.
c. Maintain a close working relationship with all Chamber Members, public, non-profit, and funding agencies. Attend meetings of such agencies at the direction of the Board.

IV. Minimum Qualifications
a. High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree or applicable course work is preferred.
b. Appropriate written skills, leadership ability, and interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism. Sound time management skills are essential.

Responsibilities:
The Sanitation Technicians are responsible for the following:

  • Communicate effectively with other team members and any other department in the facility.

Providing Environmental Services to Northern California RES Environmental Services provides environmental services, including hazardous waste removal and industrial cleaning, to a variety of businesses, industries and government agencies in Northern California.

 

Qualified candidates must have:

  • Must gave a valid license.
  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Must be available to work on-call and weekends.
  • Employer is willing to train the right candidate.
  • Must be available to travel frequently.
  • Must always wear PPE (personal protective equipment).
  • Must have steel toed boots.
  • Must be able to shovel and work in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to work in elevated work environments (not afraid of heights).
  • Must be drug free, random drug tests given.
  • Hydroblast experience is a plus!
