Description of Classes:
QuickBooks 2012 Class
A six-week series designed to provide you with a working knowledge of the program. Learn how to set-up QuickBooks to work the way you want it; how to do payroll, bill pay and other banking functions; generate reports; and learn tips and tricks for the best way to set-up your business.
Basic EXCEL
Learn how to navigate spreadsheets; understand the task bars and what they do; formulas; sorting; spread sheet design; and use of pre-made templates. For EXCEL beginners.
Intermediate EXCEL
This more advanced class is geared towards understanding how to use complicated formulas, effectively use more than one active sheet, understand advanced sorting techniques, and learn how to utilize pivot tables and graphing tools.
Basic WORD
This class is designed to provide the student with the general knowledge necessary to enter and revise text, perform specific editing, copy/cut and paste, format text, open an existing document, print, navigate through a document, insert pictures, save a document, and more. The class consists of explanations of features and functions, followed by hands on exercises led by the instructor.
Basic Computer
This two and a half hour class is designed for individuals who are new to computers. Learn the basic functions of a computer, keyboard and mouse from proper startup to shutdown. Become comfortable using the mouse. Learn about active and inactive windows, the desktop and icons, start menu and more. This class consists of explanations of features and functions, followed by hands on exercises led by the instructor.
